Position Summary 

The Technician performs service and installation activities associated with Big O automotive maintenance and tire services. We are seeking an experienced technician who can properly diagnose and repair both foreign and domestic vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Follow Big O Service Standards procedures
  • Mount, dismount, balance, repair and inspection on tires
  • Use prvided materials for tire roatations and installations
  • Alignment check and services
  • Drain oil and replace filter
  • Check and fill various fluids
  • Check and replace various vehicle filters
  • Lubricate vehicle
  • Perform safety check on all vehicles
  • Installing and checking batteries 
  • Providing own basic tools
  • Maintain good attitude
  • Keep a clean work space
Skills & Qualifications

  • ASE certified preferred but not required
  • Self-motivated
  • Hands-on skills in making repairs
  • Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance protocols.
  • Diagnostic ability whether it be manually or with computerized diagnostic tools
  • Valid driver’s license to properly road test vehicle to ensure work is successful
